Candle Wax Fires

Candles are a hot commodity year round but even more popular in the winter time. Although candles are nice to have around the house for fragrance and look, they can also be very dangerous and could cause a lot of damage if not taken care of properly. Something people may not know is water and wax do not mix and can cause a much larger flame. If wax inside the candle were to catch on fire, do not panic and throw water on it, put the lid of the candle back on it and the fire will eventually be out out due to not having oxygen.
